         Decorative Stamping and Overlaying

Decorative stamping is a process in which fresh concrete is poured and then decorative stamps are pressed into the concrete, leaving behind a beautiful and natural look of stone, slate, granite, or brick. Decorative stamping is very durable and virtually free from complicated maintenance procedures when clear seal is applied.

If you already have existing concrete and would like it decoratively stamped, then applying a stamped concrete overlay system would be the ideal way to go. With the overlay system, a thin layer of fresh concrete is poured over the existing concrete and then decoratively stamped. Applying a stamped overlay system is more convenient and less expensive than concrete replacement, due to the lower cost of natural materials and shorter installation time. Also, the overlay system is polymer-modified and cementious-based to promote excellent adhesion, toughness, and long-term durability.

Both, decorative stamping and decorative stamp overlaying may be used for both interior and exterior projects, such as driveways, patios, sidewalks, pool decks, restaurant and household floors, hotel lobbies, and retail stores.

                                  Acid Stain

Acid-stain is a deeply penetrating acid-based stain that can be used to color old or new concrete that has cured for 14 to 28 days. Acid-stain will produce various color effects, similar to the shading of natural stone or old weathered concrete.

Since acid-stain is not resin-based, it will not peel, crack, or fade. A permanent color will be produced from the chemical reaction and will wear only as the surface wears. Acid-stain is ideal for residential, commercial, or municipal purposes, such as basement and garage floors, driveways, entryways, patios, sidewalks, pool decks, restaurants, and hotels.

                           Spray Deck

Spray-deck is a specially formulated, acrylic coating system that allows dull, gray concrete surfaces to be transformed into bold, and exciting colorful surfaces. Spray-deck contains the best properties of durability and strength, allowing for a light-weighted, low maintenance surface that is also stronger than concrete of the same thickness.

With Clear Seal applied, spray-deck is resistant to mildew, thermal shocks, and most chemicals. It is also slip resistant and much cooler than plain concrete. Spray-deck is ideal for both interior and exterior projects, such as pool decks, walkways, driveways, entrances, condos, and hotels.

                           Texture Crete

Texture-Crete is much like spray-deck in that it is a specially formulated acrylic coating system; however, among bold and exciting color to surfaces, it also adds texture. By applying texture-crete, old and new concrete can obtain the look of simulated tile and brick.

Texture-crete is three times stronger than conventional concrete, making it ideal for commercial use. Also, with the application of Clear Seal, it is stain-resistant and cool-to-the-touch, making it the perfect choice for pool and spa areas. Since texture-crete is non-porous and impervious to oil, grease, mildew, and most chemicals, it is also ideal for driveways.
